Character creation
Cutting edge character customization with every feature you could want. Your ROBLOX avatar stays at the door, and what you build instead goes deeper than anything else on the platform.
Accessory re-texturing
Put your own texture on any accessory. A hat, a jacket, a pair of glasses can carry an image you choose instead of whatever the catalog shipped, which means an outfit can be specific to your character rather than to whoever else wore the same item.
Transparency
Fade any accessory to the level you want, from solid through to invisible. Useful for layering, for softening a piece that reads too loud, and for making an item sit right when it was never designed for the body it is on.
Image based clothing insertion
Wear clothing from anywhere. Paste an image ID for classic shirts, pants and t-shirts, or pull an item straight out of the ROBLOX catalog by its ID, and either one goes on your character the same way. Period correct clothing and anything else your character would actually own is a paste away.
Body scaling and skin
Height, width and proportion are yours to set, far enough that two characters built from the same starting point still read as different people across a street. Skin tone is picked separately from everything else.
Faces, animations and emotes
Choose a face, choose how your character moves, and pick the emotes they use. How someone walks across a room says as much about them as what they are wearing.
Saved outfits
Build as many characters as you want and switch between them. Outfits are saved to your account and load as a complete look, down to the accessory textures and transparency values you set.
Identity lives on the outfit
Roleplay name, biography, name tag font and name colour belong to the outfit rather than to you. Loading a different outfit loads a different person, which is what makes running more than one character actually work.
Name tags and character sheets
Hover another player to highlight them and pull up their card, then open their sheet to read who they say they are. Everything you wrote about your character is visible to the people standing in front of you.

The interface is not fixed. Choose from the designs we ship or build your own, laid out and coloured the way you want it, and the game remembers your choice every time you come back.
That is the short version. The customizer has more in it than fits on a page, and more goes in with every update, so treat the list above as a sample rather than a spec sheet.
